August 16 (SeeNews) - Croatia posted the second sharpest annual decrease in industrial production in June among European Union member states for which data are available, on par with Portugal, the bloc's statistical office said.
In June, Croatia's industrial output fell by 5.6% year-on-year, Eurostat said in a statement earlier this week.
Germany's industrial production fell the most in the EU28 in June, by 6.2%. Industrial production decreased by 1.9% in the EU28
On a monthly comparison basis, Croatia's industrial output was 2.2% lower in June
