December 6 (SeeNews) - Croatia posted the sharpest annual increase in air passenger numbers among EU member states in Southeast Europe in 2018 - of 10.0%, the EU's statistical service Eurostat said on Friday.
Croatian airports handled a total of 9.7 million passengers in 2018, Eurostat said in a statement.
Overall in the EU, the number of air passengers rose by 6.0% to 1.1 billion in 2018.
