July 5 (SeeNews) - Croatia's retail sales fell by 4.4% month-on-month in May, marking the sharpest drop among all European Union member states, the bloc's statistical office said.
On an annual comparison basis, Croatia's retail sales decreased by 1.4% in May, Eurostat said in a statement on Thursday.
Slovenia posted the third highest year-on-year growth of retail sales in the EU - by 5.6%.
