September 21 (SeeNews) - Croatia's road management, construction and maintenance company Hrvatse Ceste on Wednesday opened for traffic a bypass of the eastern town of Beli Manastir worth 111 million kuna ($15 million/15 million euro), the Osijek-Baranja county authorities said.
The construction of the 3,195-metre bypass cost 106.8 million kuna and the supervisory works amounted to a further 4.38 million kuna, the Osijek-Baranja county authorities said in a press release on their web page.
The construction works were carried out by local company Gravia for 21 months.
The bypass is located near Corridor Vc, which connects the Croatian Adriatic port of Ploce with Hungary's capital Bugapest via Bosnia and Herzegovina.
