BANKAMAGAZINE
- Croatian press distributor Tisak posted a net profit of some 11 million kuna in the first nine months of 2009, 25.8% down year-on-year. The management explains the fall with the crisis and a drop in purchasing power.
- Croatian shipbuilding, sea tourism and energy company, Tehnomont, at the beginning of October signed a deal with the Romanian Ministry of Finance for building 20 patrol boats for Romanian border police. The value of the contract is 3.7 million euro.

- Croatia's average net hourly wage was 30.95 Croatian kuna in August , 6.7% up compared with the July average, and 1.6% above the August 2008 average, the Central Bureau of Statistics reports.
