September 5 (SeeNews) - Croatia's government has adopted a draft agreement with Slovenia for the construction of a road bridge over the Kamenica stream at the border crossing Obrez - Bozakovo, infrastructure minister Oleg Butkovic said on Thursday.
The draft document was prepared as a follow-up to the government's decision of December 2018 to seek an overhaul of the existing bridge or construction of a new one at Obrez - Bozakovo, Butkovic said in a press release.
"For the successful reconstruction of the bridge, it is necessary to continue the activities related to the negotiations with the Slovenian side, with the goal of signing an agreement which would regulate the distribution of obligations between the two countries," Butkovic said.
The existing bridge and the border crossing have been closed for traffic for safety reasons since April 2015.
