BELGRADE (Serbia), January 11 (SeeNews) – Credit Agricole Banka Srbija, the Serbian unit of French lender Credit Agricole, said it booked a net profit of 309.4 million dinars ($3.1 million/2.6 million euro) in the first nine months of 2017, up 34.9% on the year.
The bank's net interest income fell 2.9% to 2.3 billion dinars, while net fee and commission income went up 3.7% to 942.3 million dinars, according to the financial statement of Credit Agricole Banka Srbija for the first nine months of 2017 posted on the website of the country's central bank, NBS.
Credit Agricole Banka Srbija's net expenses for impairment of financial assets and credit risk off-balance sheet items amounted to 305.1 million dinars in the period under review, versus an impairment cost of 367.9 million dinars in January-September 2016.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 67.7 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 69.2 billion dinars at the end of September.
