BELGRADE (Serbia), October 19 (SeeNews) – Credit Agricole Banka Srbija, the Serbian unit of French lender Credit Agricole, booked a profit to 237.35 million dinars ($2.36 million/1.99 million euro) in the first half of 2017, up 51% on the year, data from the country's central bank, NBS, shows.
The bank's net interest income fell 4.2% to 1.59 billion dinars, while net fee and commission income went up 3% to 615.9 million dinars, according to the financial statement of the lender for the first half of 2017 posted on the website of NBS.
Credit Agricole Banka Srbija's net expenses for impairment of financial assets and credit risk off-balance sheet items amounted to 224.2 million dinars in the first half of 2017, versus an impairment cost of 300.5 million dinars in 2015.
The bank's loan portfolio amounted to 67.7 billion dinars, while deposits totalled 69.2 billion dinars at the end of June.
