March 21 (SeeNews) - Cosmetics producer Bulgarian Rose [BUL:4BH] said on Thursday that it pocketed sales of 227,000 levs ($132,000/116,000 euro) in February, slightly below its 240,000 levs forecast, and posted a net loss of 64,000 levs in the second month of the year.
Bulgarian Rose generated sales of 205,000 levs and a net loss of 49,000 levs in February 2018, according to previous statements.
The cosmetics maker registered sales of 399,000 levs and a net loss of 144,000 levs in January and February combined, Bulgarian Rose said in a bourse filing.
The company expects to generate 260,000 levs in sales in March.
Karlovo-based Bulgarian Rose, established in 1948, manufactures cosmetic products for face, body, and hair using rose oil and locally-grown herbs.
Bulgarian Rose, part of blue-chip industrial group Stara Planina Hold [BUL:5SR], has stores in nine cities across Bulgaria.
