October 29 (SeeNews) - Slovenian blue-chip brewer Pivovarna Lasko almost trippled its group net profit in the first nine months of 2007 to 49.36 million euro ($71 million), the company said on Monday.
Group net sales through September rose by 6.8% on the year to 224.03 million euro, Pivovarna Lasko said in a statement to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) where it is listed.

Pivovarna Lasko's shares lost 0.87% to 97.74 euro in morning trade on the LJSE on Monday.
The Pivovarna Lasko group comprises the parent company and four subsidiaries.
