March 24 (SeeNews) - Montenegro has confirmed five new coronavirus cases in the country, bringing the total number of infected people to 27, the country's health institute said.
Three of the five newly diagnosed patients are related to already detected COVID-19 cases in Montenegro, the health institute said in a statement on Monday.
A total of 5,863 people are under medical supervision in the country, the institute said.
Montenegro confirmed the first two cases of the novel coronavirus disease on its territory on March 17. On March 22, Montenegro reported the first death in the country related to the coronavirus disease.
