March 20 (SeeNews) - Montenegro has confirmed five new coronavirus cases in the country, bringing the total number of infected people to 13, the director of he country's health institute, Boban Mugosa, said.
The last three cases are related to the first COVID-19 case detected in Montenegro, Mugosa said in a statement late on Thursday.
A total of 4,369 people who have been in the areas most affected by the coronavirus pandemic in the past 14 days are under medical supervision in Montenegro.
Montenegro confirmed the first two cases of the novel coronavirus disease on its territory on March 17. The country has closed its borders for foreign nationals to prevent the spread of the disease on its territory.
