April 22 (SeeNews) - Moldova's health ministry said on Wednesday that coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 2,614 from 2,548 a day earlier.
Most cases were registered in Chisinau (750), Soroca (239) and Stefan Voda (209), the health ministry said in a press release.
So far, Moldova has registered 74 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 560 people have recovered.
Some 38,899 people are in self-isolation.
A total of 14,055 tests have been carried out.
Since March 23, Moldova's emergency situations committee has banned people older than 63 years from leaving their home except to go to work, buy medicines or food or walk their pets.
On March 17, Moldova's parliament declared a countrywide state of emergency until May 16.
