April 14 (SeeNews) - Moldova's health ministry said on Tuesday that coronavirus cases in the country have increased to 1,847 from 1,662 a day earlier.
Most cases were registered in Chisinau, Stefan Voda and Soroca, the health ministry said in a press release.
So far, Moldova has registered 36 deaths from the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), while 134 people have recovered.
Some 39,315 people are in self-isolation.
Since March 23, Moldova's emergency situations committee has banned people older than 63 years from leaving their home except to go to work, buy medicines or food or walking their pets.
On March 17, Moldova's parliament declared a state of emergency until May 16 to enable authorities to tackle the coronavirus disease outbreak more efficiently.
