April 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's health ministry said on Friday that the cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in the country rose to 477, while the death toll increased by two to 12 people.
The number of recoveries also increased by five to 30 in total, the ministry said in a statement.
The average age of people who died from the virus is 62.8 years, while the average age of the patients who recovered is 47 years.
A total of 179 of the patients were hospitalised as of Friday.
The first coronavirus case in Bulgaria was detected on March 8. Bulgaria is currently in a state of emergency due to the virus.
