TIRANA (Albania), March 10 (SeeNews) – Albania confirmed four new cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19), as their number reached ten, deputy health minister Mira Rakacolli said on Tuesday.
To date, the ministry has conducted a total of 114 tests for suspected cases of coronavirus, deputy minister Rakacolli said in a press release.
All patients who tested positive have been hospitalised and their condition is stable, Rakacolli added.
Earlier in the day, Albania’s government decided to suspend all flights and passenger ferry services to Italy in an attempt to curb the spread of the disease.
