January 16 (SeeNews) - Automotive parts supplier Continental Romania said on Tuesday that it has named Franziska Jung as the new general manager at ContiTech Nadab, the company's plastic and rubber products supplier.
Jung's predecessor Christian Krafft took over the position of product industrialisation manager in Rayong, сх Thailand, Continental Romania said in a press release.
"ContiTech Nadab has grown quite a lot in recent years: several production lines have been developed and a second building has been acquired. Over the years, the company has invested over 10 million euro in this location and currently has 860 employees," Franziska Jung said.

Jung came to Romania from the Hannoversch Mueden plant in Germany, where she was the director of operations since 2015.
ContiTech Nadab produces approximately 13 million products each year for passenger, hybrid and commercial vehicles, mainly hoses for air induction.
In August, Continental Romania said it plans to open a second research and development (R&D) centre in the city of Sibiu and to hire 1,000 people in it in the following years.
The new R&D centre will spread on 12,000 sq m and will include offices and laboratories.
In July, Continental invested 1.8 million euro in a water treatment unit in Carei, in the northern county of Satu Mare.
German-based Continental currently has 18,200 employees in Romania, of whom 1,700 were hired last year.
Continental is present in Romania with all five divisions of the group and owns seven production units and three research and development centres located in Timisoara, Sibiu, Carei, Nadab, Brasov and Iasi. Continental is also a partner in a joint venture in Slatina and has a tyre distribution centre in Bucharest.
