March 24 (SeeNews) - The confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Bulgaria rose to 201 as of March 23, up 11, with the city of Pazardzhik and the town of Dupnitsa reporting their first cases, the health ministry said.
Most of the newly confirmed cases were from the capital Sofia - nine, the ministry said in a statement late on Monday.
The first coronavirus case in Bulgaria was detected on March 8. Three deaths related to the infectious disease have been reported to date, as well as three recoveries. Bulgaria is currently in a state of emergency due to the virus.
