ZAGREB (Croatia), December 22 (SeeNews) – The Adriatic region’s top 100 IT vendors in terms of revenues boosted their combined income by 4.2% to 2.53 billion euro ($3.3 billion) in 2010, market research firm IDC said.
At the same time, the combined staff of the companies included in the ranking's third edition dropped by 2.9% to just over 13,000 last year, IDC said in a press release on Wednesday.
In terms of revenue, the region’s biggest IT vendor in 2010 was Zagreb-based M San Grupa with an income of 262 million euro. The Top 5 is rounded off by Serbia’s Comtrade Grupa, Slovenia’s Avtera, global vendor IBM and regional system integrator S&T.
Among the region's IT services providers and software developers, the leading companies in 2010 were Comtrade, S&T and Asseco SEE, IDC said.
