ZAGREB (Croatia), October 17 (SeeNews) – The Adriatic region’s top 100 IT vendors in terms of revenues increased their combined income by 2.2% to 2.53 billion euro ($3.3 billion) in 2011, market research firm IDC said on Wednesday.
In terms of revenue, the region’s biggest IT vendor in 2011 was Zagreb-based M San Grupa with an income of 246 million euro, IDC said in a statement.
The Top 5 is rounded off by Serbia’s Comtrade Grupa, Slovenia’s Avtera, global vendor IBM and regional system integrator S&T.
The Adriatic region’s top 100 IT vendors cut their combined headcount by 1.4% to just over 13,000 in 2011.
Croatia placed the biggest number of companies in the Top 100 rankings with 33 entrants, followed by Slovenia with 23 and Serbia with 21.
IDC said per capita IT spending across the Adriatic region stood at $146 in 2011 versus an EU27 average of $956.
