LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 21 (SeeNews) – The blue-chip SBITOP index of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) fell 0.15% to 873.85 points on Monday, hit by a drop in the share prices of chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] and Telekom Slovenije [LJE:TLSG], bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje’s shares lost 1.60% to 184.0 euro, while Telekom Slovenije’s shares closed 0.64% lower at 62.2 euro.
None of the blue chips closed in positive territory on Monday.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of the LJSE's trading turnover on Monday - of 340,760 euro. The LJSE's total turnover shrank to 541,870 euro ($604,942) from 727,920 euro on Friday.
