LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 14 (SeeNews) – Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJSE:CICG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, recouping losses of the previous session, bourse data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's shares closed 2.05% higher at 199.0 euro. On Tuesday, the stock closed 1.52% lower at 195.0 euro.
Logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] fell the most among the Slovenian blue-chip companies on Wednesday. Its shares closed 2.34% lower at 2.5 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 862.89 points, up 0.18%.
LJSE's total daily trading turnover rose to 831,060 euro ($930,007) from 599,450 euro on Tuesday, as pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] contributed the largest portion – 282,500 euro.
