LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), November 6 (SeeNews) – Slovenian chemicals producer Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Wednesday, contributing to a rise in the main share index, LJSE data showed.
Cinkarna Celje's share price rose 2.22% to 184.0 euro on Wednesday.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 864.90 points, up 0.69%.
Port operator Luka Koper [LJE:LKPG] fell the most among the blue chips. The company’s shares closed 1.27% lower at 23.4 euro.
Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] generated the largest portion of LJSE's trading turnover on Wednesday – 344,650 euro.
The LJSE's total trading turnover fell to 910,170 euro ($1.0 million) from 1.22 million euro on Tuesday.
