June 15 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's Cinkarna Celje [LJE:CICG] was the top blue-chip gainer in Friday's trading session on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE), bourse data shows.
On Thursday, Cinkarna Celje announced that Luxembourg-based Anatol S .a. r. l. will not launch a takeover bid for the company, despite its earlier intention to do so.
Cinkarna Celje closed 3.27% higher at 253 euro ($293.6), in the day's largest turnover of 448,550 euro. On Thursday, the company's shares fell by 4.3%to 245.0 euro.
Financial group KD Group [LJE:KDHR] fell the most among LJSE blue chips, closing 4.55% lower at 42.0 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, added 0.60% to 894.44 points on Friday. On Thursday, the index fell 0.12%.
Total trading turnover on the LJSE rose to 2.7 million euro on Friday from 2.24 million euro on Thursday.
