March 29 (SeeNews) - Cinema operator Cinema City Bulgaria said on Friday that it has opened a new multiplex in the city of Varna, on the Black Sea coast, following an investment of over 5 million euro ($5.6 million).
The is the company's seventh multiplex in the country, Cinema City Bulgaria said in a statement.
The multiplex offers a 4DX cinema hall.
Cinema City Bulgaria, part of Dutch-based Cinema City Holding, has two multiplexes in Sofia, and one each in Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Ruse, Burgas and Varna.
Cinema City Bulgaria generated revenue of 24.1 million levs in 2017 and ended the year with a net profit of some 2 million levs, according to its latest available annual financial statement.
