September 19 (SeeNews) - Chinese company Zhong Xiao Nengyuan Zhi plans to invest 2 million euro ($2.2 million) in the construction of a plastic granules factory in Serbia's Cuprija, the city government said on Wednesday.
The factory will have a workforce of 50 employees and will be built at the premises of the manufacturing unit of former paper producer Mladost with a total footprint of 1,500 square metres, the Cuprija city government said in a statement.
The company plans to expand the factory at a later stage and add 150 workers, its director Quang Xi He was quoted as saying.
Zhong Xiao Nengyuan Zhi signed a concession agreement for the former factory of Mladost with Cuprija city government on September 18.
