May 8 (SeeNews) - Chinese company Zhongya Real Estate has offered to pay 14.1 million kuna ($2.1 million/1.9 million euro) for the Zagorje Hotel in Kumrovec, above the call price of 11.96 million kuna requested by the Croatian state, the tourism ministry said.
The bid for Zagorje Hotel located some 60 km from Zagreb submitted by the Chinese company was the only complete and valid offer in the tender launched on March 23, the tourism ministry said in a statement on Tuesday after the opening of the bid.
The Croatian government will soon have to decide whether to accept the offer or not.
The state-owned Zagorje Hotel is a former political school building with a total area of 27,000 square metres.
