BELGRADE (Serbia), April 4 (SeeNews) – Chinese company Mei Ta has begun building its second car parts factory in Belgrade, the city mayor said.
The company plans to invest 90 million euro ($110.8 million) in the construction of the factory, which will be completed in six months and will cover 50,000 square metres, Sinisa Mali said in a statement on Tuesday.

Mei Ta plans to open 1,100 jobs at the factory, located in the Obrenovac neighbourhood of Serbia's capital, Mali said.
The total investment in the construction of both factories will amount to about 200 million euro, the financial director of the company in Serbia, Daniel Cheng, said in the statement.
Mei Ta manufactures automotive parts, engine parts and general industrial parts. The company operates several production facilities in France, Slovakia, China and India.
