October 8 (SeeNews) - China's CRRC Qingdao Sifang has filed a complaint over clarifications provided by Bulgarian state-owned company BDZ Passengers in relation to the opened 675 million levs ($396.1 million/345.1 million euro) tender for supply of 42 passenger railcars, the Bulgarian competition authority said.
In its complaint, filed on Friday, CRRC Qingdao Sifang has also asked the regulator to suspend the tender until a final ruling is issued, the Commission for Protection of Competition said in a brief notice published on its website.
The regulator provided no further details in the notice.
Last month, Germany's Siemens Mobility also filed a complaint against the tender.
BDZ Passengers launched the tender in mid-August and set October 12 as deadline for submitting offers. The assignment envisages supply of 42 passenger railcars and technical support for a period of 15 years.
