December 17 (SeeNews) - Business process outsourcing company Computer Generated Solutions (CGS) Romania said on Tuesday it has opened a new centre in the city of Constanta where it plans to hire 600.
The 2,000 sq m centre is the company's seventh location in Romania and will serve projects in financial, technical, sales and customer service areas, CGS Romania said in a press release.
"The growth of the business over the last year has led us to increase our payroll. Thus, the opening of a new CGS centre on the local market came as a natural step and Constanta was chosen because of the high availability of labour force, considering that we will need about 600 employees over the next three years, but also due to its proximity to Bucharest," CGS Romania country manager Vladimir Sterescu said.
US-based company CGS is present on the Romanian market since 2006 and currently employs over 4,000.
CGS Romania provides services in 18 languages, with support centers - in Bucharest, Brasov, Sibiu, Targu-Jiu, Miercurea-Ciuc, Galati and Constanta.
CGS was founded in 1984 in New York and currently employs over 7,500 across North America, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
