April 6 (SeeNews) - Power utility CEZ Distribution Bulgaria, a unit of Czech energy group CEZ, said on Monday that it has signed framework agreements for the purchase of power cables with local companies Elkabel and Vak-02.
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria signed two framework agreements with Elkabel, worth up to 13.6 million levs ($7.5 million/7 million euro) in total, and another two deals with Vak-02, also worth up to 13.6 million levs in total, the power utility said in a notice.
All four contracts were signed on March 23.
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria operates the power grid in the Sofia region and parts of western and northern Bulgaria.
