December 6 (SeeNews) - Power distributor CEZ Distribution Bulgaria [BUL:3CZ], majority owned by Czech power utility group CEZ, said that it has invested 6.3 million levs ($3.6 million/3.2 million euro) in two projects in Sofia.
The company completed the reconstruction of power substation Vitosha and replaced a 110 kV cable, CEZ Distribution Bulgaria said in a statement earlier this week.
Over 100,000 households will benefit from more reliable electricity supply after the projects, the company noted.
CEZ Distribution Bulgaria operates the distribution grid on an area of 40,000 sq km in northern and northwestern Bulgaria, including the Sofia region.
