January 19 (SeeNews) - Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip decliner on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] closed 2.34% lower at 1.587 levs as 9,533 shares changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover rose to 796,600 levs ($431,700/407,100 euro) on Thursday, from 489,900 levs on Wednesday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index dropped 0.22% to 605.09 points, after edging down 0.01% on Wednesday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.28% to 116.21 points, after it lost 0.57% on Wednesday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, rose 0.38% to 108.22 points, after closing 0.23% higher on Wednesday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.22% to 467.85 points, after decreasing by 0.31% on Wednesday.
Bulgarian Real Estate Fund [BUL:5BU] led the blue-chip gainers on Thursday, rising 1.12% to 2.260 levs as 199 of the company’s shares were sold.
Real estate investment trust (REIT) Advance Terrafund [BUL:6A6] was the most traded blue-chip company for a fourth trading session in a row, as 68,849 company shares traded at an average price of 2.103 levs.
On Monday, Advance Terrafund said it sold 15,168 ha of agricultural land in 2016, at an average price of 1,318 levs ($714/674 euro) per ha and acquired 9,026 ha of agricultural land, at an average price of 855 levs per ha. Since, Monday a total of 337,817 company shares traded on the stock exchange, advancing by 3%.
