November 30 (SeeNews) - The share price of Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] advanced the most among the blue chips on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Wednesday, as most indices rose.
Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] ended the trading session 3.79% higher at 1.425 levs as 68,881 of its shares changed hands.
Diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] was the most traded blue chip, as 117,124 of the company shares changed hands at an average price of 1.592 levs. Its shares closed 1.79% higher at 1.594 levs. The company said on Wednesday that its net profit fell by 10.2% year on year, reaching 73.4 million levs in the first nine months.
Construction company Trace Group Hold [BUL:T57] led the blue-chip decliners, falling 3.30% to 5.280 levs, as 3,809 shares were traded. Earlier on Wednesday, the company said it turned to a consolidated net loss of 6.27 million levs in the first nine months of 2016, from a net profit of 6.85 million levs in the corresponding period last year.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.51% higher at 562.82 points on Wednesday, extending its gains from the previous day. On Tuesday, the SOFIX added 0.65%.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, added 0.77% to 106.37 points on Wednesday, following a rise of 0.51% in the previous trading session.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of the real estate investment trusts, fell by 0.64% to 103.48. On Tuesday, the index closed 0.18% higher.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, rose 0.60% to 439.11, after it increased by 0.56% on Tuesday.
Total stock turnover rose to 2.3 million levs ($1.24 million/1.2 million euro), from 714,500 levs on Tuesday.
