September 25 (SeeNews) - Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] was the top blue-chip gainer on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) on Monday, bourse data showed.
Central Cooperative Bank shares closed 2.24% higher at 1.78 levs ($1.08/0.91 euro) in a trading volume of 3,403 units.
The BSE did not operate on Friday due to a national holiday.
The blue-chip SOFIX index rose 0.33% to 680.87 points, after adding 0.15% on Thursday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, increased 0.43% to 131.69 points, after rising 0.84% on Thursday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, grew 0.16% to 114.52 points on Monday. On Thursday, the index closed 0.25% higher.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, added 0.51% to 545.72 points, following a 0.30% decrease on Thursday.
Total trading turnover on the BSE rose to 2.8 million levs on Monday from 1.6 million levs on Thursday.
Software developer Sirma Group Holding [BUL:SKK] was the most traded blue chip on Monday, as 37,000 of the company’s shares changed hands at an average price of 1.11 levs.
Financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH] fell the most among blue chips on Monday, closing 1.59% lower at 1.301 levs.
