December 19 (SeeNews) - Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF] led the blue-chip decliners on Monday, as most indices ended in negative territory, bourse data indicated.
Central Cooperative Bank shares closed 4.80% lower at 1.447 levs. It was also the most traded blue-chip company, as 37,540 of its shares changed hands.
Total stock trading turnover on the Sofia bourse fell to 2.9 million levs ($1.54 million/1.48 million euro) from 17 million levs on Friday.
Friday's turnover was boosted by deals in shares of real estate company Velgraf Asset Management [BUL:1VX].
Two companies contributed more than half of Monday's trading turnover: Investor.BG [BUL:4IN] (33%) ans Doverie United Holding [BUL:5DOV] (26%).
Earlier on Monday, Doverie said that drug maker Sopharma [BUL:3JR] has increased its stake in the holding company to over 20%.
The blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.52% lower at 575.45 points, after rising 0.10% on Friday.
The broader BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the BSE, decreased 0.38% to 109.43 points, after it added 0.15% on Friday.
The BG-REIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, rose 0.19% to 105.06 points, after increasing by 0.08% on Friday.
The BG TotalReturn30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, fell 0.63% to 452.10 points. On Friday, the index rose by 0.49%.
Fertiliser producer Neochim [BUL:3NB] was the top blue-chip gainer, rising by 3.04% to 61.00 levs, as 230 of its shares changed hands.
