January 9 (SeeNews) - The economy ministry of Central Bosnia Canton said it extended by 10 years the term of the concession contract with local asphalt producer and mining company Rudnici Gipsa for exploitation of a gypsum deposit.
The annex to the concession contract signed by the two parties concerns the Elezovac site in the Donji Vakuf municipality, the economy ministry of Central Bosnia Canton said in a statement on Friday.
The original 25-year concession agreement for gypsum exploration and mining at the Elezovac site will expire in 2024, the ministry of environment and tourism of Bosnia's Federation said in an earlier notice.
The Central Bosnia Canton is one of ten cantons making up the Federation, one of two autonomous entities that form Bosnia and Herzegovina. The other entity is the Serb Republic.
