October 2 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.14% lower at 568.53 points on Wednesday, largely due to a 1.90% decrease in the share price of local Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF].
CCB also led decliners among members of the equally-weighted BGTR30 index. The BGTR30, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, edged down 0.09% to 506.20 points.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.19% to 112.82 points, hit by a 7.08% drop in the share price of Zarneni Hrani Bulgaria [BUL:T43].
The BGREIT index, which tracks the performance of real estate investment trusts, slid 0.20% to 127.83 points, backing away from its recent all-time high. The index was dragged down by a 1% decrease in the share price of Bulgarian Real Estate Fund REIT [BUL:5BU].
Total regulated market trading turnover fell to 433,000 levs on Wednesday from 607,000 levs on Tuesday.
