April 1 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index closed 0.41% lower at 417.64 points on Wednesday, marking its fifth consecutive losing session.
Lender Central Cooperative Bank (CCB) [BUL:4CF] and its majority owner Chimimport [BUL:6C4] fell most among blue chips, losing 3.61% and 3.09%, respectively.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, decreased 0.66% to 89.78 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, erased 0.92% to 432.88 points.
Both indices were hurt by a 12.28% drop in the share price of financial and insurance group Eurohold Bulgaria [BUL:4EH].
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, rose 0.12% to 125.22 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 774,000 levs on Wednesday.
