March 24 (SeeNews) - The Bulgarian Stock Exchange blue-chip SOFIX index gained 2.94% to 418.88 points on Tuesday, supported by diversified group Chimimport [BUL:6C4] and its unit Central Cooperative Bank [BUL:4CF].
CCB and Chimimport shares gained 12.59% and 12.56%, respectively, on Tuesday.
The wider BGBX40 index, which tracks the 40 most traded shares on the Sofia bourse, increased 2.58% to 88.63 points, while the BGTR30 index, in which companies with a free float of at least 10% have equal weight, grew 3.15% to 426.17 points.
The BGREIT index, which tracks real estate investment trusts, rose 1.36% to 125.99 points.
Total regulated market trading turnover amounted to 578,000 levs on Tuesday.
