March 25 (SeeNews) - Canadian-based software company FreshBooks will open a regional development centre in Croatia in the beginning of May in a bid to strengthen its presence in Europe, local media reported.
The new centre will employ 40-50 IT experts, exclusively from Croatia, news daily Vecernji List said on Tuesday, quoting a report by state news agency Hina.
The Croatian centre will work on improving FreshBooks' accounting software platform and on attracting new clients, the report said.
It added the company already has one development centre in Europe, located in the Netherlands.
Established in 2004, FreshBooks provides one of the most popular cloud accounting software platforms for small businesses and self-employed professionals. It has paying customers in over 160 countries across the world, it says on its website.
