March 25 (SeeNews) - Canadian real estate consulting and advisory services provider Avison Young said on Thursday that it is expanding further across Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) through strategic affiliations with a newly established venture in the Czech Republic and Slavtchev Consulting in Bulgaria.
Both the Bulgarian and the Czech company will operate under the Avison Young brand and deliver integrated services to local and multinational clients of the Canadian company, the Toronto-headquartered real estate advisor said in a statement.
"We are focused on expanding where our clients need us to be and where top talent exists. We are particularly excited about the CEE region where investment opportunities are plentiful and great tech minds are thriving,” Mark Rose, chairman and CEO of Avison Young, said in the statement.
Bulgaria's Slavtchev Consulting, founded in 2012 by Anton Slavtchev, is active in brokerage, advisory, and office building management as well as in the provision of landlord and tenant representation services, marketing advisory services and market research. The company has local and multinational experience across France, the U.K. and Romania, Avison Young said.
"We take an analytical approach to client assignments and Avison Young’s data and analytics platform will help us continue to deliver the type of intelligent solutions our clients need,” Anton Slavtchev, now principal and managing director of Avison Young for the Bulgarian market said in the statement.
"Building our capability in CEE is a key component of our European expansion plans. We are gradually expanding our geographical footprint across Europe and we expect further announcements will follow,” Gerry Hughes, principal and president of Avison Young Europe, added in the statement.
In the CEE region, Avison Young is also present in Hungary, Poland and Romania. The company operates in the U.K., Ireland, Germany, and Israel as well.
