September 5 (SeeNews) - Canadian mineral exploration and development company Velocity Minerals said on Tuesday the laboratory results for the additional two drill holes at its advanced Rozino gold project in Bulgaria indicate impressive results.
"The cross section shows three drill holes, each with 70 to 95 meters of near-surface, near-continuous downhole mineralization at greater than 0.5g/t gold," Keith Henderson, Velocity president and CEO, said in a statement. "This is the first time in Velocity’s drill program that we can look at multiple drill holes on a single cross section and the result is impressive."
The initial phase one drilling programme at the Rozino gold project, in southeastern Bulgaria, will consist of nine holes in total and approximately 2,000 m.
The company said last month the laboratory results for the first two drill holes at the Rozino gold project indicated the presence of high-grade gold mineralization.
Velocity is a gold exploration and development company focused on Eastern Europe. The company’s portfolio includes two gold projects in southeastern Bulgaria - Rozino and Ekuzya.
