May 3 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria's gas transmission network operator Bulgartransgaz said that its net profit fell to 47.1 million levs ($26.9 million/24.1 million euro) in 2018 from 61.4 million levs in 2017.
The company's total operating revenue rose to 372.8 million levs last year from 362.6 million levs in 2017, Bulgartransgaz said in an annual financial statement.
Total operating expenses grew to 329.3 million levs in 2018 from 283.3 million levs the year before.
In a separate financial statement, Bulgartransgaz said that its net profit rose to 37.5 million levs in the first quarter of 2019 from 23 million levs in the same period of 2018.
The company's total operating revenue fell to 101.6 million levs in the January-March period from 109.6 million levs in the comparable period of 2018, while expenses declined to 68.2 million levs in the review period from 80.8 million levs a year earlier.
