November 30 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian sugar and ethanol producer Zaharni Zavodi [BUL:ZHZA] said that its consolidated net profit decreased to 4.6 million levs ($2.6 million/2.3 million euro) in the nine months through September 2021 from 7 million levs in the same period of last year.
Zaharni Zavodi's revenue fell to 100.2 million levs in the first nine months of this year from 104.1 million levs in the comparable period of 2020, the company said in an interim financial statement on Monday.
At the same time, the company's expenses decreased to 95.7 million levs in the review period from 97.2 million levs in the first nine months of last year.
Gorna Oryahovitsa-based Zaharni Zavodi operates several production facilities, including a sugar refinery and a confectionery plant.
Shares in Zaharni Zavodi last traded at 3.82 levs on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange's BaSE market, bourse data showed.
