March 2 (SeeNews) - Bulgarian cigarette filter manufacturer Yuri Gagarin [BUL:4PX] said that its consolidated net profit fell to 2.2 million levs ($1.2 million/ 1.1 million euro) last year, from 4.0 million levs in 2018.
The company's consolidated revenue decreased to 123.7 million levs last year from 133.7 million levs a year earlier, Yuri Gagarin said in its annual financial statement on Friday.
Operating expenses amounted to 121.2 million levs in the review period, down from 129.3 million levs in 2018.
The company's assets rose to 156.4 million levs at the end of December from 125.7 million levs a year earlier.
The company consolidates the results of two wholly-owned units - Sofia Print Investment and U. G. Technics.
Yuri Gagarin manufactures multi-colour printed packaging and labels of cardboard and paper for the cigarettes, food, cosmetic and other industries.
