July 16 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production increased by an annual 1.36% to 24,086 GWh in the January 1 - July 14 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports fell 2.85% to 3,029 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 2.00% to 21,057 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged up 0.29% on the year to 668 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 12.56% year-on-year to 1,015 GWh.
