December 10 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 4.31% to 41,169 GWh in the January 1 - December 8 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 23.78% to 5,594 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption edged down 0.30% to 35,574 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 1.53% year-on-year to 1,118 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 10.12% year-on-year to 1,723 GWh.
