November 5 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 2.86% to 36,639 GWh in the January 1 - October November 3 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 21.51% to 4,973 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption edged up 0.91% to 31,666 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system fell 3.28% year-on-year to 1,005 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 8.80% year-on-year to 1,568 GWh.
