October 1 (SeeNews) - Bulgaria’s electricity production fell by an annual 1.82% to 32,791 GWh in the January 1 - September 29 period of 2019, according to data from the country's Electricity System Operator (ESO).
Electricity exports decreased 17.95% to 4,500 GWh in the period under review, data from ESO's weekly bulletin showed.
Domestic power consumption added 1.34% to 28,292 GWh.
The volume of renewable energy in the transmission system edged down 0.61% year-on-year to 912 GWh, while the volume of renewable energy in the distribution system rose by 12.53% year-on-year to 1,435 GWh.
